Short path distillation is an advanced vacuum separation technology designed for materials requiring:

Working Principle

Short Path Distillation operates under deep vacuum conditions.

The material flows down the heated evaporation surface and forms a thin film.

Process:

  1. Feed material enters evaporator chamber
  2. Material spreads into a thin liquid film
  3. Vacuum reduces boiling temperature
  4. Light components evaporate quickly
  5. Vapor travels a very short distance
  6. Condensation occurs immediately
  7. High purity fractions are collected

The extremely short vapor path minimizes pressure loss and thermal exposure.
